Ali Rogers, Miss Laurens County, was crowned Miss South Carolina 2012 at the Township Auditorium in Columbia. The beauty from Laurens is 20 years old. She will represent South Carolina in the Miss America 2013 Pageant to be held in Las Vegas next January.

Ali Rogers Crowned Miss South Carolina 2012
Rogers was swimsuit preliminary winner at Miss South Carolina 2012. Rogers’ platform is “Making a Difference for Children with Disabilities” and she said she hoped to raise awareness for children with developmental disabilities during her reign as Miss South Carolina. Her competition talent was an original piano composition.
Currently, she is a Clemson University student, majoring in communications. Ali Rogers was Miss South Carolina’s Outstanding Teen 2009.
– 1st Runner Up: Lauren Cabaniss, Miss Greater Greer
– 2nd Runner Up: Hannah Barfield, Miss Spartanburg
– 3rd Runner Up: Brooke Mosteller, Miss Greenville Scottish Games
– 4th Runner Up: Leighann Bagwell, Miss Clemson.
At the same event, 17-year-old Rachel Wyatt was crowned Miss South Carolina Teen 2012. The teen from Piedmont was competing as Miss Greater Mauldin Teen. She will compete in Miss America’s Outstanding Teen in August in Orlando, Fla.
