Bree Morse, the reigning Miss Orange Coast, was crowned the title of Miss California 2015 at the conclusion of the state pageant held on June 27th, 2016 at the William Saroyan Theatre in downtown Fresno. She will represent the state of California in the upcoming Miss America 2016 pageant, to be held in Atlantic City on September 13, 2015.

Morse, 23, is a graduate of California State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing. She is currently working at Perkowitz + Ruth Architects in Long Beach, California.
The fourth time was the charm for Bree Morse. She entered her first Miss America system pageant in 2008 but did not win the local title. In 2009, she was crowned Miss Garden Grove’s Outstanding Teen 2010. On August 20, 2011, Morse won the Miss Garden Grove 2012 title but was not a top finisher in the Miss California pageant.
In 2013, Morse won the Miss North County 2013 title and placed in the Top 12 contestants, but was not a finalist of Miss California pageant. In 2014, Morse won the Miss Orange County 2014 title and placed second runner-up to winner Marina Inserra.

This year, Morse’s competition talent was tap dance. Her community service platform is in support of the National Alopecia Areata Foundation.
As the winner, receives a $12,000 scholarship from the Miss California pageant.
