The Miss Germany competition started in 1927 and is, according to its organisers, Germany’s oldest and most important beauty contest. More than 5,000 women competed in 115 preliminary pageants before the final contest took place on Saturday.

On February 05, 2013, Caroline Noeding was voted Miss Condor 2013 by the passengers on board of Condor flight DE2418 from Frankfurt to Fuerteventura. The aisle of the Boeing 757 – 300 on this beauty queen flight turned into a catwalk, negotiated twice by each of the contestants. Caroline Noeding the reigning Miss Lower Saxony, came out on top.
She beat off the challenge of the other candidates taking part in the Miss Germany pageant. “Winning over an audience on board an aircraft is a special type of challenge, but our beauty queens were brilliant”, smiles Uwe Klenovsky, Sales Manager at Condor. “At the same time, our passengers were enjoying some unique on –
board entertainment. We wish Miss Condor every success at the Miss Germany camp and in the finals on February 23 at the Europa Park in Rust.”
