Road to Miss England 2013: Deborah Ingram of Long Marton was crowned Miss Cumbria 2013 on Sunday night of December 4, 2012 at Carlisle Racecourse. Deborah is 21 years old and will compete in the finale of Miss England 2013 beauty pageant, scheduled to take place in Torquay on 13th – 16th June 2013.

The final included themes of sports wear, day wear/party wear, evening wear and eco outfits. The girls took to the catwalk in a 4 scene fashion show and awards ceremony in front of a very vocal sell out audience, who at one point gave the girls a 6 minute standing ovation. Each finalist modeled Sportswear, Evening wear, Eco wear and commemorative T Shirts from The Lanes Shopping Centre with the motto “Celebrating Young Women in Cumbria”. Deborah beat other 44 contestants to win the tittle. Mark Jones, Miss England regional organiser, said: “It was out of this world. Simply amazing.”
The first runner-up was Shema Haque
, 22, of Penrith. The second runner-up was Alice Simpson
, 18, of Carlisle.
