Gina Bernasconi Crowned Miss Vermont USA 2014

Gina Bernasconi was crowned Miss Vermont USA 2014 at the conclusion of the state pageant held on Suday night of November 24th, 2013 at the Hilton Burlington Hotel in Burlington. She will represent the state of Vermont in the Miss USA 2014 pageant, scheduled for next summer.

Gina Bernasconi (left) was crowned Miss Vermont USA 2014 and will compete in the Miss USA 2014 pageant.

The 19-year-old Underhill native competed in Miss Vermont USA 2013 pageant but did not place. She is a Para educator at Founders Memorial School in Essex Junction, Vermont. She is pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Special Education. Gina volunteers at Fletcher Allen Hospital on the pediatrics floor and at The Sustainability Academy in Burlington. She has recently completed a 1200-hour Spa Therapy program and am now a certified Massage therapist.
“With my past experience as a burn victim my pursuit in life has changed tremendously. I am now an advocate for those with disabilities, special needs, and all those whose lives have been changed through trauma. I believe this opportunity to become Miss Vermont USA will give me a chance to become a role model and reach out to those in need,” wrote Gina.

Miss Vermont USA 2014 results:

– Winner: Gina Bernasconi.
– The first runner-up: Sydney McEwen,
– The second runner-up: Caroline Kemp,
– The third runner-up: Myranda Benoit,
– The fourth runner-up: Ashley Audette.

The top 8 completed with Mary Collins, Hunter DiGangi and Neely Fortune.

At the same event, Madison Cota was crowned Miss Vermont Teen USA 2014 and will compete in the Miss Teen USA 2014 pageant, scheduled for next July in the Bahamas.
