Jade Power Crowned Miss Sussex 2013

Jade Power was crowned Miss Sussex 2013 on April 21, 2013 at at Brighton Racecourse.
The beauty from Rye, East Sussex is 19 years old and stands 5’10”. She will now to represent Sussex at the finals of Miss England 2013 pageant, scheduled to take place in Torquay in June.

Jade was bullied so badly at school. She was so traumatized by the physical and verbal attacks by girls at her school that she left before gaining any GCSEs or A-Levels. On one occasion bullies threatened to kill her and her family, punched her and pulled her hair.
However, she regained confidence after taking up horse riding, especially coaching a horse called “Hero”.
Right now, Jade is forging her career as an impressive winning show jumper and model. Jade also went to college to achieve A levels and get some qualifications under her belt.

She now plans to use her experiences and her title as Miss Sussex to produce a video and help scheme for other youngsters who are being bullied.

The first runner-up was Victoria Coleman and the second runner-up was Keely Bitout.
Special Awards:
Jade Power is the Talent Award Winner and she also wins the Public Choice Award.
Keely Bitout took the Beauty With a Purpose title after raising over £750 for charity.
Isabella Byford is the Photographic Winner.
