Júlia Gama, Miss World Rio Grande do Sul, was crowned Miss World Brazil 2014 at the conclusion of the national pageant held at the Costão do Santinho Resort in Florianopolis on August 9th, 2014. The beauty from Porto Alegre is 21 years old and stands 1.77 m. She will represent Brazil in the upcoming Miss World 2014 pageant, scheduled for December 14th, 2914 in London, England.

The first runner-up was Vitória Estrada and the second runner-up was Vitória Bisognin.
Miss São Paulo, Victoria Ceotto, finished in 4th place, and Miss Santa Catarina, Elisa Freitas ended in the 5th position.
Miss Brazil World is a traditional beauty contest held annually which aims to choose the best candidate for it to represent their country with honor in the traditional international Miss World contest. The Brazilian representatives began to be sent from the year 1958, with girl from Pernambuco Sonia Maria Campos. Since 2006 who manages the sending of representatives to the international event is the team led by Henrique Fontes. The country has so far only an international crown, obtained with the Rio girl Lúcia Tavares Petterle in 1971.
