Lanie Hudson, the reigning Miss Anderson, was crowned Miss South Carolina 2014 at the conclusion of the Miss South Carolina Scholarship pageant held on June 28th, 2014 at Township Auditorium in Columbia. She will represent the state of South Carolina at the upcoming Miss America 2015 pageant, scheduled for September 14, 2014 in Atlantic City.
Lanie Hudson wins Miss South Carolina 2014 and will compete in Miss America 2015 pageant.
Hudson, 23, is a student of Clemson University.
For talent, Hudson did a clog dance to Aretha Franklin’s “Think”.
The first runner up was Miss Boiling Springs, Lauren Cabaniss.
The second runner up was Miss Fountain Inn, Daja Dial.
The third runner up was Miss Greenville Scottish Games, Kelly Ragan.
The fourth runner up was Miss Clemson, Callie Martin.

The top 10 were completed with:
Miss Capital City, Chandler Parnell; Miss Columbia, Mya Kayler; Miss Greater Hartsville, Anna Brown; Miss Landrum, Jordyn Fox; and Miss Spartanburg, Lustra Miller.
Semi-finalists in the top 16 included:
Miss North Greenville University, Megan Lindler (People’s Choice); Miss Chesnee, Erin Frost; Miss Hilton Head Island, Rachel Tripp; Miss River City, Lara Scott; Miss Spring Valley, Ansley Seay; and Miss Trevilian, Mary Grace Nasim.
Earlier, Hope Harvard, Miss Greater Easley Teen, was crowned Miss South Carolina Teen 2014 and will compete in the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2015 pageant, scheduled for August 2, 2014 in Orlando, Florida.
