By winning the title of Miss Alsace 2013, Laura Strubel becomes the first Miss France 2014 contestant!
Laura Strubel was crowned Miss Alsace 2013 on June 21st, 2013 in Colmar. The Urmatt native is 24 years old and stands 1.80 m. She will compete at the finals of Miss France 2014, to be held at the Zenith de Dijon on the first weekend of December, Saturday 7.

Laura teaches piano at the Hoerdt Schirmeck music school. She was encouraged to attend the pageant by one of her students.
At the age of 24, Laura was the oldest but the favorite candidate in the competition. 18 beauties vied for the title. The event was attended by Miss France 2013 Marine Lorphelin and the reigning Miss Alsace 2012 Emilie Koenig.

The first runner-up of Miss Alsace 2013 was Laetitia Joerger, 21-year-old beauty from Eberbach-Seltz. She is a student in a nursing school.
The second runner-up of Miss Alsace 2013 was Sandra Pierson, 22-year-old beauty from Soppe-le-Haul who has a passion for gymnastics and fitness.
