Maggie Bridges, the reigning Miss Capital City, was crowned Miss Georgia 2014 at the conclusion of the Miss Georgia Scholarship pageant held on June 21st, 2014 at the River Center for the Performing Arts in Columbus. She will represent the state of Georgia in the upcoming Miss America 2015 pageant, scheduled for September 14, 2014 in Atlantic City.

For her talent she performed a vocal presentation to, “You’ll Be in My Heart” from the Disney movie, Tarzan.
Her platform is “Impacting Others Through Volunteerism.”
Maggie is no stranger to the Miss Georgia scholarship pageant, being the third runner-up in Miss Georgia 2013 pageant.
Maggie Bridges of Cobb County is a third year student at Georgia Tech majoring in biochemistry with plans to pursue a degree in pharmacy.
The first runner-up was Taylor Voyles – Cobb County;
The second runner-up was Betty Cantrell – Presidential Pathways;
The third runner-up was Courtney Walker – International City;
The fourth runner-up was Michelle Johnson – Warner Robins.
Earlier, Miss Warner Robins Olivia McMillian was crowned Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen 2014 and will compete in the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2015 pageant, scheduled for August 2nd in Atlantic City. Her court includes the first runner-up Abigail Feltner, Miss Starr’s Mill, the second runner-up Emma Wernecke, Miss Peachtree City, the third runner-up EmmaKate Few Miss University of Georgia and the fourth runner-up Anna Maley Miss Greater Columbus.
