Deutschlands Schönste (Germany’s Most Beautiful), which holds the national license of Miss World, Miss Supranational and Miss Tourism Queen International, is being organized by Carsten Mohr.

Germany debuted in Miss World 1952 and produced two winners: Petra Susanna Schürmann (1956) and Gabriella Brum (1980), who was dethroned 18 hours later. Since 1980, Susanna Marie Kobylinski in 2010 was the first German representative to get into the semifinals.

In recent years, Carsten Mohr who has the license for Miss World since 2010, has chosen the german representative from casting calls. This year will be the first time when Miss World Germany would be elected using a stage format.
