– Talent: Vocal
– Platform: Never Say Never: Support for children and families coping with childhood cancer.
“Through my work as a titleholder, I met Abbie Waters, an 8-year-old girl suffering from rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer of the connective tissues. Our friendship was instant. I was with Abbie during her treatments, through her hair loss, and sat beside her bed as she died April 22, 2011. It was through this child I found my new passion and my platform, ‘Never Say Never – Support for Children and Families Coping with Childhood Cancer,'” she wrote on her blog.
