Naa Okailey Shooter was crowned Miss Ghana 2012 on Saturday night of November 10, at the Accra International Conference Center. She will represent Ghana in the Miss World 2013 beauty pageant in Indonesia. The first runner-up was Nadia Ntanu and the second runner-up was Jennifer Annan.

Naa Okailey representing the Greater Accra Region is on a mission to demystify the face of child healthcare in Ghana and the world at large. A pediatrician in the making, her love for children manifested itself when she in loco parentis her four younger siblings at the tender age of 13 when two were seriously taken ill. If crowned Miss Ghana, she will use her status to minimize maternal mortality, improved healthcare facility for children and curb pre- teen pregnancy a phenomenon prevalent in her native region Accra, bukom, James Town et al.
