Real Talent: An evaluation of artistic skills: dancing, singing, dance, among others.

Beauty with purpose: This challenge will expose the candidates sensitivity to social causes.
Usually, the 1st runner-up to Miss Venezuela is crowned Miss Venezuela World during the national pageant and will represent the country at next year’s Miss World. However, this is the first time in years Miss Venezuela World pageant is organizes separately to choose Miss Venezuela World 2013.

Earlier, there has been rumor that was said to be leaked to the public by Osmel’s Assistant that Karen Soto would represent Venezuela in Miss World 2013 in Indonesia. Karen Soto stands 1.79 cm and she was part of Miss Venezuela 2010 where she came TOP 10, and won World Next Top Model 2011 in Lebanon.

Osmel himself denied the rumor later.
