De’Andra Bannister, Miss Olives Mediterranean, was crowned the tittle of Miss World Bahamas 2013 at the end of the national beauty pageant held held at the Atlantis Grand Ballroom on Paradise Island on Sunday night of 29th July, 2012. The beauty from Nassau is 23 years old and stands 1.73 m. She will represent Bahamas in the Miss World 2013 beauty pageant, scheduled to take place at the Sentul International Convention Center, Sentul, Indonesia next September.

She will represent her country in Miss World 2013 pageant.
De’Andra Bannister earned the Associate’s Degree on the Dean’s List from Central Piedmont Community College. Her favorite book is ‘The Bible’. Her hobbies are Photography, Travelling, Writing, Sports and attending spoken word events.
At the same event, Celeste Marshall was crowned Miss Universe Bahamas 2012 and will represent the country in the Miss Universe 2012 beauty pageant in Las Vagas.
The 1st runner up to Miss Universe Bahamas 2012 was Miss Bahamas Universe Autumn Joy Dames; the 1st runner up to Miss World Bahamas Analicia Thompson; and Irina Key. The Beauty with a Purpose fast track award went to Kahtura Fernander for her work with empowering young women and the People’s Choice winner was Reneika Knowles. Other special awards presented during the evening were Miss Photogenic Rakia Rolle; Miss Congeniality Adria Flowers; and MBO Spirit award winner Rochelle Alexandre.
