Molly Bouchard was crowned Miss Maine 2012 on June 16, 2012 at the Crooker Theater in Brunswick. She will represent Maine in Miss America 2013Pageant to be held in Las Vegas next January.

Bouchard from Caribou is 21 years old. She is a graduate of Caribou High School and a senior at the Boston Conservatory of Music in Boston majoring in vocal performance. She presented a classical vocal selection for her talent. Her platform is “STARS: Sharing Talents and Reducing Stereotypes.”
Molly also received the Steven “Daddy” Jensen Award and the Talent Award.
As the new Miss Maine, Molly will spend the next year traveling the state to spread the message about her platform and the Miss America Organization, a non-profit organization awarding more scholarship money for young women than any other organization in the world.
The first Runner-up: Janet Ottman of Kennebunkport;
The second Runner-up: Kelsey Earley of Lebanon;
The third Runner-up: Alexa Dumont of Biddeford; and
The fourth Runner-up: Marissa Butler of Standish.
Other awards and scholarships went to Shayne Anderson of Dedham (People’s Choice Award), Marissa Butler of Standish (Miracle Maker Award), Kacie Ferraro of Berwick ($1,000 Miss America Academic Scholarship), and Kelsey Earley of Lebanon (Swimsuit Award and $1,000 Community Service Award.)
