Monique Evans, the reigning Miss Park Cities, was crowned Miss Texas 2014 at the conclusion of the Miss Texas scholarship pageant held on July 5th, 2014 at the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts, in Richardson, Texas. She will represent the Lone Star state at the Miss America 2015 pageant, scheduled for September 14th, 2014 in Atlantic City.
Monique Evans wins Miss Texas 2014 and will compete in Miss America 2015 pageant.
Evans is currently a student of the University of Texas in Austin, majoring in pre-med.
Evans is also a professionally trained ballerina, so her talent for pageant is Ballet en Pointe “Requiem for a Tower”.

Monique Evans is no stranger to Miss Texas pageant. She was former Miss Austin 2011 and competed at Miss Texas 2011. Last year, she competed as Miss Dallas.
The first runner-up was Miss Plano – Christine Tang.
The second runner-up was Miss Waco – Madison Adams.
The third runner-up was Miss Frisco – Madison Fuller.
The fourth runner-up was Miss Dallas – Laryssa Bonacquisti.

Earlier, Kassidy Brown was crowned Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen 2014 and will compete in the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2015 pageant, scheduled for August 2, 2014 in Orlando, Florida.
