Third time’s a charm for Rosie Sauvageau

Rosie Sauvageau was crowned Miss North Dakota 2012 on June 9, 2012 in Williston. She will represent North Dakota in Miss America 2013 Pageant to be held in Las Vegas next January. Rosie Sauvageau played the piano for the talent competition. Her platform was “Celebrate Diversity: One State, All Peopleā€.

Third time’s a charm for Rosie Sauvageau!!! She was the second runner-up in the the 2010 Pageant and the first runner-up in last year’s pageant. She was ready to throw in the towel after two consecutive attempts. However, her mother convinced her to give it one last shot this year. She became the first African American to win the tittle.

The first runner-up was Miss Oil Country Becca Lebak, a newsroom assistant at WDAY-TV. The second runner-up was Miss Badlands Meagan McDougall. The third runner-up was Miss Eastern Dakota Laura Harmon.
Kaylee Seven was crowned Miss ND’s Outstanding Teen 2012!
